Workshop: Market Pathways for Cloud Edge IoT in the Manufacturing Sector

Hosted by VDI/VDE-IT on behalf of the European Commission and the Horizon Europe-funded initiative “The European Cloud, Edge and IoT Continuum”, the workshop will describe thoroughly the
current CEI Manufacturing market landscape, examining the innovative developments that foster the green energy transition. The focus of the workshop will be modular CEI infrastructure architectures
that promote multi-stakeholders’ collaboration. The first part of the workshop, the Unlock CEI team will present the project’s findings on the Market Dynamics and opportunities for European companies. Additionally, some examples of Cloud Edge IoT platforms will be shown by the industrial partners (demand side).
The Market ready solutions developed under the MetaOS initiatives will be pitched to industry to gather interest in launching agile pilots as part of the Edge Pilot Factory. This is also an opportunity to
find collaborations that might fall with the CEI Horizon Europe calls. The afternoon will be dedicated to a discussion of market structures, scenarios and pathways for the
European technology providers. We look forward to your active participation and contributions during the workshop. Your expertise and insights are invaluable in shaping the future of Cloud-Edge IoT in the energy sector.
