What will European Standardisation look like in the future? How will the EU Standardisation Strategy affect standardisation beyond the Single Market? Most importantly, how can EU and non-EU actors work together to unlock the strategy’s full potential?
Dedicating a whole afternoon to standardisation, EFTA will convene policymakers, industry experts and other stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the opportunities and challenges for the European Standardisation system.
Join us for a series of presentations, panel discussions and Q&As on Wednesday 8 November to understand the what, how and why of the EU Standardisation strategy and its effects in the EU, the EFTA States and in wider Europe.
The speakers and panellists will address the challenges that the standardisation system is facing from different perspectives:
- From the industry view
- At the European level
- At the national level
The event will take place at EFTA House on Avenue des Arts 19H in Brussels. The conference starts with a lunch at 12.00 and opening remarks at 13.00. We will close off the conference with a small reception at 17.00.
