EUCEI at the Edge Service Summit

June 30, 2023

The Edge Service Summit is a tailor-made platform for IT decision-makers to discuss concepts and use cases of intelligent edge services to increase operational efficiency, automation, connectivity and real-time access to data. The leading German-speaking event on edge computing brings together IT leaders in edge computing, IT infrastructures, IT operations, leaders of new technologies, and network and IT architects to share experiences and find optimal solutions for the effective use of edge services in companies from various industries.

EUCloudEdgeIoT.eu also shares these values and used the event to launch the second wave of participation focusing on market scenarios.

UNLOCK-CEI, a Coordination and Support Action that aims at building and activating the demand constituency by recruiting potential adopters from key sectors as well as major industrial associations, was in charge of organising the Potential World Cafè.

The objective of the Café was to discuss the Cloud-Edge-IoT market structures, to identify enabling and hindering factors for the adoption of CEI technologies. It also explored opportunities for the European CEI solution providers with the goal of enforcing the strategic autonomy for the European economy and avoid vendor log-in effects.

Inessa Seifert and Marlene Eisenträger (VDI/VDE IT) represented EUCloudEdgeIoT.eu at the event.
