This webinar will explore the evolving role of telecommunications in the European Cognitive Computing Continuum, where networks are becoming not only a connectivity layer but also a distributed and programmable computing platform. The discussion will cover key topics such as Open RAN and multi-vendor architectures, seamless connectivity across heterogeneous and satellite networks, AI-driven network automation, and federated telco edge infrastructures. Particular attention will be given to how these developments can support Europe’s goals in digital sovereignty, interoperability and industrial digitalisation, as well as the challenges of integrating networking, cloud-edge computing and AI into a coherent and scalable ecosystem.
