NebulOuS, a pioneering Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Project, is thrilled to announce the launch of its first Open Call, inviting SMEs, startups, and Research organisations to participate in shaping the future of cloud and IoT technologies.
About NebulOuS:
NebulOuS is poised to revolutionise the digital landscape with its innovative Meta Operating System designed to enable secure and optimal application provisioning and reconfigurations over the cloud computing continuum. Through the development of pilot demonstrators, NebulOuS aims to test the replicability and sustainability of its framework across diverse domains such as environment, transportation, smart cities, energy, and agriculture.
NebulOuS project will organise 2 open calls dedicated for SMEs, start-ups and small consortia to validate the Project’s architecture. The calls will fund up to 9 projects implementing additional use cases extending beyond the pilots implemented within the project. The total budget for the 2 open calls is €1.350.000 and available funding per project is up to €150.000.
NebulOuS Open Call #1 Details:
NebulOuS Open Call #1 seeks to fund up to 4 projects, each receiving funding of up to €150,000, to validate the project's architecture and implement additional use cases beyond the pilot demonstrations. With a total budget of up to €600,000, this call presents a unique opportunity for innovators to contribute to the advancement of cloud and IoT technologies.
Who Should Apply:
- SMEs, start-ups, and research organisations working in IoT, Edge, Cloud, or related technologies are encouraged to apply, single or in teams 2 organisations.
- Projects addressing challenges such as workflow applications, IoT applications with variability, serverless applications, or other open challenges are particularly sought after.
How to Apply

Timeline and Support
The winning projects will be implemented over 7 months and divided into three phases: Implementation, development, and demonstration. Each beneficiary will receive dedicated mentoring and support throughout the duration of the project.
