SUMMARY:Demand pull drivers for Cloud Edge IoT in the healthcare sector
DESCRIPTION:Demand pull drivers for Cloud Edge IoT in the healthcare sector\nThis workshop aims to provide an overview of the CEI demand landscape and highlight the major demand-pull drivers in the healthcare sector. The workshop will encompass discussions of the future and current use cases as well as economic\, political\, environmental\, technological\, social and legal factors that can affect the option of Cloud-Edge-IoT technologies on the market. \nThe use cases will address smart medical devices with embedded intelligence\, health data transmission\, heterogenous infrastructure interoperability\, and AI-based assistant systems for diagnosis and treatments. \nThe agenda will involve discussions regarding the flow of the data-driven revenue streams among the CEI stakeholders and potential vendor lock-ins. Potential gaps will indicate business opportunities and incentivise cooperation among the participating experts. A week before the workshop\, we will provide you with the detailed agenda. \nUNLOCK CEI is the organizer of the event and is one of the Coordination and Support Actions funded in this cluster with the objective to understand and predict possible market scenarios at the convergence of Cloud\, Edge and IoT (CEI) technologies and support their adoption by companies and other relevant industrial players. To this aim\, an engaged community of CEI adopters will be constituted to help understand the requirements for the future uptake of such technologies and provide insights to guide future research and innovation in this field.

SUMMARY:WORKSHOP: Best practices for aligning higher education curricula to ADS dynamic demand
DESCRIPTION:WORKSHOP: Best practices for aligning higher education curricula to ADS dynamic demand\nThe Leading European Advanced Digital Skills (LeADS) program aims to provide insights into the changing advanced digital skills (ADS) demands within a dynamic technological development context and current digital transformation to equip skills suppliers (education and training) with the knowledge\, guidance and best practices to shape the future of European ADS talent. \nOver the course of 7 years\, LeADS will support the development of advanced digital skills to reinforce higher education institutions in the design and delivery of specialised programs for future experts in key capacity areas like digital\, data\, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)\, cybersecurity\, and High-Performance Computing (HPC). We invite you to an online workshop on methods for aligning curricula to dynamic demand in higher education. \nThe main goal is to gather insight into how higher education institutions (e.g. universities) can integrate the needs of industry-specialised skills in the design of their programs. Methods that will be discussed include an advisory board. The workshop is principally aimed at course directors and training providers but will also be of interest to human resources managers eager to extend collaboration with universities. \nSpeakers: \n\nGonzalo Gomez Lardies – Group Chief Marketing Officer – Inentum\nJuan Jose Moreno Navarro – Full professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid\nKieran McCorry – National Technology Officer at Microsoft Ireland
