DESCRIPTION:Integration of charging stations in Cloud-Edge-IoT environments\n  \nThe workshop will explore how charging stations can be integrated into Cloud-Edge-IoT environments\, with a particular focus on interoperability\, standards\, and practical deployment challenges. Bringing together experts from research\, industry and standardisation activities\, the session will examine how software-defined vehicles\, connected charging infrastructures and digital platforms can work together across the computing continuum. \nParticipants will gain insights into ongoing developments within the O-CEI Large-Scale Pilot\, including use cases related to software-defined vehicles and connected mobility services. The workshop will also discuss the role of standards in enabling interoperable charging ecosystems and present emerging testing tools designed to support the integration and validation of charging stations in distributed digital environments. \nThis session is particularly relevant for stakeholders in electric mobility\, smart charging\, Cloud-Edge-IoT\, interoperability\, standardisation\, and next-generation energy and mobility infrastructures. \nFor more information about the event\, click here.

DESCRIPTION:Code The Continuum\n  \nCode the Continuum brings together students\, developers\, researchers\, innovators\, open-source communities\, pilot teams and solution providers for two days of hands-on collaboration around the cloud-edge-IoT continuum. \nThe event creates a practical space for experimentation\, co-creation and exchange\, where participants will work on real challenges related to open technologies\, interoperability and the reuse of assets across large-scale pilot environments. \nWho should join? Students\, developers\, researchers\, innovators\, open-source contributors\, pilot teams and solution providers interested in collaboration across the CEI ecosystem. \nBefore You Join \n\nLocation: University of Cagliari – Building B\, Room C\, Via Merello (see venue details)\nLanguages: Onsite instructions and support will be provided in both English and Italian.\nPrizes: The Hackathon includes awards for each of the three challenges tracks\, with a total of €4\,500 in prizes to be awarded across the event.
